Parenting Support

Parenting is hard work! Are you feeling like you need some expert guidance? I have over a decade of childcare experience and would love to help make your life more peaceful.

Let me model my gentle but firm caregiving techniques, teach you the basics of baby-led weaning, spend time with a new older sibling, or assist you in organizing your home to promote independence.

As a previous infant and toddler preschool teacher, daycare provider, and nanny, I offer these services to families with children aged 0-4 years old.

  • You’ve seen the TikToks, you’ve read the Instagram posts, and you sure don’t want to pass along your childhood trauma…but gentle/conscious parenting is leaving you worn tf out!!! Self-reflective, respectful parenting is no easy feat - you deserve some one-on-one support.

After a free consultation, I will come over to observe your home environment, model my calm caregiving style, and help you take control of your parenting (think modern-day Supernanny, but without the cool British accent). I have helped parents learn techniques to effectively communicate with 10-month-olds, stop toddler tantrums before they begin, and start dishing up seconds of broccoli to picky three-year-olds.

  • Skip the purees and baby cereal! Instead, start feeding your 6+ month infant nearly everything you eat. Baby-led weaning is a method for starting solid foods that allows your baby to explore a wide variety of textures and tastes while fostering independence, autonomy, and healthy eating habits. Plus, babies love it!

I can teach you the signs of readiness for beginning baby-led weaning, show you the safest ways to serve foods, and teach you the difference between gagging (normal) and choking (scary). I am Red Cross certified in infant CPR and can come to your home, prepare meals for your baby, and clean up the mess they are bound to leave behind.

  • Welcoming a new baby into the home is as big a transition for your child(ren) as it is for you. While you are busy caring for yourself and your newborn, let me fill your older child’s cup.

I love integrating into each child’s unique imaginative play, preparing sensory activities, or taking trips to the library. I can bring your child on a hike or cozy up in their room and sing together.

As a certified postpartum doula, I can also split time between playing with your older one and caring for your little one, so you can spend one-on-one time with your first baby or get a much-needed nap.

  • Are the toys in piles on top of piles? Have you seen those functional play kitchens, but never had the time to DIY? I would truly love to Montessori-fy your home.

While creating a simple space designed for independent play, I will share the fundamentals of the Montessori philosophy. We can get your child(ren) involved in cooking, cleaning, and practical life skills. Whether your little one is not yet walking or just about ready for kindergarten, I will adapt your home to promote their learning and self-reliance.
